About Arcifact.
The method, and who built it.

Arcifact Ltd is an independent research company registered in England. Arcifact builds instruments that compute exact answers about systems defined by constraints, and records designed to make those answers independently verifiable.

Arcifact began with a narrow question: can a language model be prevented from asserting evidence that does not exist? That work became Model Evidence, and it exposed a wider pattern. Systems routinely make claims their evidence does not support, and a green required check in continuous integration is the same failure in different dress. Arcifact Authority applies the method to legal citation, checking every authority in a UK court document against the published register, and is the flagship commercial instrument; Arcifact Gate applies it to merge gates. All share one envelope, one verifier and one discipline: state the bar before the run, compute what can be computed, and leave the rest marked unknown.

The work is inspectable. The Oracle computes the exact admissible orderings of a real 24-job CI workflow live in the browser. Published evaluation results can be checked here, and the open Arcifact Kit provides frozen instruments, scoring tools and lightweight verification code for independent reproduction.

Every published result carries its provenance. Preregistered failures remain in the record. Two UK patent applications, GB2618664.3 and GB2619009.0, cover methods developed through this work.

If you run pipelines, models or other systems where order, constraints and evidence matter, there are two ways to begin: a Gate review of one repository, or a Model Evidence pilot on one release. Both start from one system and one claim, with the bar agreed in writing first.
